What counts as a valid answer?

The country category accepts any sovereign nation, and well-known former countries like Yugoslavia or the Soviet Union count too. Keep the line between a country and a city clear - New York is a city, the United States is a country. In a 1v1 round both players often reach for the same obvious answer, so it pays to keep a less common country in reserve.

For the tough letters, remember Q - Qatar, U - Uganda, V - Vietnam, Y - Yemen, Z - Zambia.

How the category fits the game

In every round of Categorico, a letter and a category are drawn. When the category is "Country", your job is to find an answer that fits it and starts with the letter that came up. A correct answer is worth 10 points, plus extra seconds on the clock in quick mode.
